4. Use of the Personal Data
Personal Data gathered into the Register is processed for the purposes of establishing, managing, maintaining and developing the relationship between Tofuture and its customers. The information and personal data may be used for direct marketing including electronic direct marketing with the consent of the customer. In the event of possible misuse, the personal data may be used to investigate and follow up such cases as well as for planning and development of the business activities and services of Tofuture.
5. Recorded Data
The following customer data may be processed in the Register:
– name, title, company, e-mail address, phone number, position/job description when given by the customer
– invoicing details if registered through Academy-site
– prohibitions and consents for direct marketing and
– other information given by the customer
6. Regular Sources of Data
The data to be recorded in the Register is provided by the customers. The data is collected through the electronic order demo form or Academy registration form available on Tofuture website and through other forms of contact information provided by the customer.
7. Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data
Tofuture does not disclose the information and personal data recorded in the Register for any third parties.
8. Security of the Register
Only employees who need the customer information to carry out their work assignments can access the system containing customer data. Each person having the access rights to system has individual username and password. Access control system is in use in the premises of the holder of the Register. The personal data saved in the Register is collected into joint databases which are secured with firewalls, passwords and other appropriate technical measures.
9. Right of Access and Correction of Data
Everyone is entitled to access the data regarding him/her and request rectification of erroneous or incomplete data that has been recorded into the Register and use otherwise protective measures granted in Personal Data Act. The requests shall be made in writing to the contact person mentioned in section 2.
10. Other Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to the Personal Data Act, the data subject shall be entitled to prohibit processing of data for direct advertising, distance selling and other direct marketing as well as for conducting market surveys and opinion polls. Such prohibition can at any time be submitted to the contact person mentioned in section 2.
